Visualization

Abraham Lincoln once said, “Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.” This quote is all about preparation. We can mentally prepare ourselves for success by using visualization. Having a clear vision of what you want most is important in nearly every aspect of life. Clarifying this vision can be done by picturing your future every day. Visualization is so powerful that what you focus on most becomes your reality. This is known as the Law of Attraction.

Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich is about how action mixed with desire produces success. The fundamentals of this book are rooted in the Law of Attraction. Having the mindset of a successful person is what makes you successful. People who think negatively are not healthy to be around. If I were to most people about my goals and aspirations, they might laugh or try to knock me down a notch. Successful people like to see others succeed. All my friends and collogues who are successful always encourage me and find ways to help me. Typical people always try to knock down others because other people’s success is a threat to their ego. Their mindset is, “If I’m not successful, you can’t be successful.” They might also say things like, “I deserve this!” That mindset is extremely detrimental to success. Mindsets are dangerously powerful. They can be extremely advantageous or detrimental.
