There is comfort in discomfort. If you are truly giving your growth everything you have, you will be uncomfortable. Learning to be comfortable feeling uncomfortable is the most important part in conquering fears. If you’re comfortable being uncomfortable, that means you’re constantly in the state of growth. If you can master this skill, you can conquer any fear and crush any goal.

For the longest time and still to this day, I struggle with talking to people. I’ve gotten a lot better with it simply by doing it even though it makes me feel uncomfortable. I have to constantly push myself until it becomes a habit. It hurts in the short-term, but the long-term benefits are too big to ignore. This mindset is similar to going to gym or eating your vegetables. Not everyone likes doing it, but deep down we all know we need to do it.

Being comfortable hinders growth. If you’re not willing to put in the work, effort and discipline then you really don’t want to achieve your goals. When you get comfortable, you no longer have the hunger to advance. I don’t have a problem with people who are comfortable, but if you have massive goals and you’re comfortable, something has to change. Either you downgrade your goals, or you become uncomfortable by taking massive action. If you stay in this state of growth for long enough, I can guarantee you’ll see a difference. Keeping pushing and you’ll see your dreams become your reality!
