Take Off the Governor

In order to become better, you need to realize that anything is possible. You need to remove the governor from your life. Just like an engine, we have a governor that limits our performance. We need to remove this governor to truly excel. You have to knock down any boundaries and preconceived notions. Believe in yourself and your abilities. You have to set standards for yourself that are ridiculously high. I have to push myself on a daily basis to meet my standards. My standards are higher than they were yesterday. This is because I’ve proved to myself what is possible. Greatness is just over the horizon! Once you get close to meeting your standards, you need to raise them again. You have to keep pushing your definition of impossible. Napoleon Hill, author of Think and Grow Rich, recommends cutting that word out your life. You have to truly believe you are able to meet your goals. Use a self-fulfilling prophecy. If you believe you can do it, you will do it. Muhammed Ali already believed he was the greatest of all time before he even had a reason to. That’s the level of self-belief you need. You have to forget about the past and only focus on the future. You can’t change the past, but you can form the future. Anything that you can’t control is not worth your effort or time to focus on. Nobody cares if you’ve failed or succeeded in the past. Who are you today? Who will you be tomorrow? Those are the questions that are important. Take control and make your life your life!

Challenge:Focus on the present and the future. Throw out your past and know that anything is possible. Push yourself to become the ultimate version of yourself.
