What do you want in your life? That’s a critical question you need to ask yourself before you set your goals. Everything we do is to work towards our ideal lifestyle. In order to work towards this, you have to have visualized it and really know what you want. It important to see even the smallest of details. The more specific the better! Let’s say you’re building your dream house. Do you have an image in your head of what this looks like? Well, what is the likelihood that it comes out perfect if you just start building? Not great! Now, what happens if you have blueprint? It’s going to be incredibly accurate according to what you initially wanted. Having a plan is crucial in designing your lifestyle. Once you have a plan, all you have to do is execute. This plan however is always in revision. As we grow and change, so do our goals and ambitions. It’s important that this plan adapts to your current and future goals. By designing your lifestyle, you can insure that it is everything you want. Remember, once you achieve this lifestyle, the work isn’t over. It takes even more work to maintain it and grow further. Below, I have listed the steps that I use to work on achieving my ideal lifestyle!

  1. Visualize- Know what you want. Visualize it to the most intricate of details. Be Specific!
  2. Plan- Write a detailed plan of how you’re going to reach this lifestyle. Yes, I said write! It’s a proven fact that writing helps us retain information better. 
  3. Execute- This is the hardest part. You have to be committed and disciplined. When it gets tough, you need to re-envision your goals and ambitions. This will fuel your flame! If the end goal is worth it, you’ll keep pushing for it. Executing becomes very manageable as you create more habits that are beneficial to your success.
