I’ll be honest with you, today was a pretty tough day for me mentally. All I’ve wanted to do is lay in bed and sleep. I didn’t feel happy. I just didn’t have any drive, but I know that the only way to get out of ruts is by doing things. After some thinking, I discovered something that is going to change my life! I created an appreciation technique to use whenever I’m feeling down or burnt out. We can’t be sad and appreciative at the same time. If you want to feel appreciated, you must first give appreciation. So I created a challenge. This challenge is designed to give people immediate fulfillment. To me, fulfillment is beyond happiness. Happiness is short term, but fulfillment lasts. I can buy a new pair of shoes and be happy, but that happiness soon fades. I can help someone and get fulfillment because I know I made a difference in their life. That fulfillment carries for a while. So you may be wondering, what is the challenge? Well, here it is!

  1. Think of 3 Things That You Are Good At or Are Grateful For.
  2. Tell 3 People 3 Things That You Appreciate About Them.
  3. Share The Challenge With 3 People.

Pretty simple, huh? This is something that has the power to help people right now! The best part about this challenge is seeing the responses from the people that you appreciate! Not only do you get to make their day, but they feel obligated to say nice things to you in return. It’s also something that can be done in less than 10 minutes. Who knew that something so simple could alter the course of one’s day?
