Hi! I’m Cole!
I’m a student, blogger, podcaster, and performance coach.
Raised in small town Iowa, I learned from a young age that success takes hard work. I’m no stranger to long work weeks and sleepless nights. Whether it’s creating productive habits or starting a business, success takes work.
To really understand who I am, you’ll want to meet my older brother, Jared. When Jared was young, he was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Essentially, his muscles progressivly weaken overtime. This also leads to a slew of other complications. It was tough to watch him going from walking, to using a walker, to using a wheelchair. By the time Jared was 12 years old, he was using a wheelchair full time. Although Jared has a lot of disabilities, he has far more abilities. I’ve always been one to focus on ability awareness. This is a mentality that has helped me in all my realtionships.
Growing up, I dealt with the constant struggle of scoliosis. After years of dealing with back pain and the feeling of seclusion, I underwent an 8 hour spinal fusion procedure. This would lead to a year-long recovery full of pain and personal growth.
2019 has been a huge year! I launched a website, blog, and podcast to share my message and document my journey towards success. I’ve since started performance coaching. Most recently, I founded CJS Enterprises, LLC.
I currently attend the University of Northern Iowa where I double major in Finance: Investments and Real Estate. I plan on graduating in the fall of 2020.
